July 3rd was a great night for Mooredale. In follow up to Mooredale hosting a gusty Friday Night Race, Mooredale in collaboration with our friends The Toronto Maple Reefers threw an after racing fund raising party. This involved the serving of over a hundred cheeseburgers, a fantastic live band, and a 50/50 draw with our very own Colin Mowat taking the jackpot.
The big winner of the night though was the Disabled Sailing Association of Ontario. Thanks to our membership, the The Toronto Maple Reefers Parrothead Club (www.maplereefers.ca), and the Toronto Albacore racing community we raised $600. This is four times the $150 raised last year!
