It was another busy weekend doing the facelift at Mooredale. After Frank finished installing all the trim on Wednesday night Fred and his crew (Sandeep and Ian) started to patch the big holes. It was a cold blistery night but they made a big difference.
The weekend brought out an enthusiastic crew. In the "house" John N and Jeff, sanded and scrubbed the fridge down and then painted it...What a difference!! Barb went back to finishing off the lockers with a second coat of paint; Merle chopped down the path on the roadside to the POP; Fred lead the painting crew (Irina, Jenn, Alan, Ian, Charlotte, Andria, Merle, among others) who sanded, primed and painted; Jason got rid of the mess of electrical wires and added a wall plug and then tried to fry us all with some rewiring, luckily John Miolla came to the rescue! John also finished the granite table which will be next to the BBQ; Bob and Jeff pulled the last whaler out of the water and then dewinterized the water system. At the end of the day there was a coat of paint on the wall and already things are shaping up!
This coming weekend there is a lot going on. Jason and team will be pulling out the docks early Saturday morning. We need to finish up the clubhouse as we have the Tony Cox Concert in our prime Toronto concert venue. That means we need you!!
