It is time to get your sailing club back in shape!
If you thought Easter weekend was awesome just wait till this weekend... The Docks are going to make the big splash into Lake Ontario! (Let's hope they float...)

- Sail Inspection and Boat weighing
Thank you's go out to George, Barrie, Tim, and Almir (and me) for inspecting all our racing sails this past Saturday. Now we have an opportunity to weigh our boats. This Saturday April 10 Jtown has their weigh scale set up and is generously offering for us to use it in the afternoon. The scale will be left ready us to use for the afternoon.
I am looking for a team of about 8 volunteers to get this done efficiently. We can use this basis point of boat weights to evaluate every year what boats are getting heavier and take actions as needed, including evaluating what hulls we replace with new ones. We also may be able to take some actions immediately to reduce weights closer to the regulations. We can also use this time as a committee this saturday to get a good record of what hull repairs are needed on what boats. I would think we can weigh all 20 boats in about 3 hours or so. Lets plan on starting at 1:00 pm. And please do keep Saturday April 17 at 10 am in your calendars to come down and together flip the boats, get them on the dollies, step the masts etc, making them ready for sailing.
