Regatta - Notice of Race

INNER HARBOUR, TORONTO, ONTARIO
Eligibility: The Toronto Island Sailing Club (TISC) Open Regatta is open to all Albacore sailors who are members of the Canadian Albacore Association, including all members of CAA-affiliated sailing clubs. All participants must be 19 years of age or older.
Registration: Pre-registration on Friday night at the Outer Harbour after the Friday Night Race. Registration at TISC on Saturday morning, from 9:00-10:00 AM, OR on water by handing the Race Committee boat the registration form and payment before the first gun.
Entry Fee: $65 per boat, which includes a snack pack, two drink tickets, post-sailing appetizers, licensed bar, dinner, and party. Guests may purchase dinner tickets separately for $20 for a chicken or vegetarian entrée.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three boats overall and to the top three TISC boats not finishing in the top three overall. To be eligible for the TISC prizes the boat must be a TISC club boat with both helm and crew having full TISC sailing memberships.
Rules: The Racing Rules of Sailing, the rules of the Canadian Albacore Association, and the regatta sailing instructions will govern the regatta. The sailing instructions will be made available at the time of registration.

9:00 am Registration
10:00 am Competitor's Information Meeting at TISC
11:00 am Warning signal for Race 1. Other races to follow. Lunch on the water; time to be determined by the race committee.
6:45 pm Awards Ceremony
7:00 pm Dinner and party (included in regatta fee)
8:30 pm DJ and dancing
