Once registered, you will receive Mooredale's Newsletter in Html format. Newsletter Html format allows us to include links to the webisite and a few pictures in our electronic newsletter. You can opt to register and receive any or all of the 3 newsletters by email (Sailing club; Racing; White Sailors) for news and updates on each of these area. Some members have reported that they receive no mail from mooredale, or that the messages are filed as spam. The chance is that mooredale messages are mailed to you but the service that you use to read mail has high security or was programmed to deny all messages unless the address is in a permitted list. These instructions teach you how to permit mail from mooredale, but the 'how to' is general enough that you will learn how to write a permit for any address. This permit is also called a 'filter'.
Once an address is permitted, in the mailer program (for example, outlook) you will find mail from mooredale (mooredale.com) like newsletters, event notices, reminders, ... in the 'inbox' rather than in 'spam'.
All mail from mooredale has the address suffix mooredale.com. The suffix of an address is called the 'domain'.
If your mailer program is a cause of lost mail from other sources then you may want to write other filters to permit those other addresses.
In the list, find then read the 'how to' for the mailer program that you use to generically learn how to add a filter. If you use an other mailer program that misfiles mail from mooredale.com either query google 'how to add a mail filter [program name]' or contact a mooredale communicator who will find a generic how to for the program.
